Camera Preset has a linear exposure response.

At the peaking level, around 2 stops over normal, it sharply clips to absolute white. It has an extensive 6 stops of underexposure detail which can make images look a little flat, but offers little room for highlight correction in post.

Preset @ 1/50th sec.  has an exposure index of 500 ASA, when measured as reflectance of a standard grey card.

BA Setup #1 is designed to give an exposure response which is closer to the non-linear curve of film to give maximum flexibility in colour grading.

At approximately 90% exposure (2 stops over) it curves into a more gentle shoulder area, compressing an extra 1.5 stops into that range.  At peaking level it softly clips to absolute white in brightness ranges around 12 times normal exposure (3.5 stops). This setup also retains 6 stops of measured shadow detail and can look noticeably flat when ungraded but provides extended range to create a variety of looks in subsequent colour grading.

Setup BA #1 @ 1/50th sec.  has an exposure index of 320 ASA.

BA Setup #2 is designed to give a gentle highlight response in combination with rich blacks and the appearance of saturated colours,  useful when post does not allow for colour grading.

It retains  detail to around 2.5 stops overexposure.  At peaking level it softly clips to absolute white. This setup retains a more limited 5 stops of shadow detail which creates the impression of a vibrant “graded” image but provides a very limited range for later colour grading.

Setup BA #2 @ 1/50th sec.  has an exposure index of 500 ASA.
